The British Double Reed Society Annual Convention is your chance to see and meet the cutting edge of British double-reed playing, to hone your skills, to seek advice and to see and try a full range of instruments.
Once again the Annual Convention offers a full programme of events, this year emphasising especially chamber music and educational aspects.
We welcome David Theodore, former principal oboe, London Philharmonic Orchestra, and Lorelei Dowling, former principal bassoon, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, who will give masterclasses to conservatoire standard students, and recitals.
Trade stands are always a highlight of the Convention and, with another warm welcome from the Northampton Music and Performing Arts Centre, this should make a special day for Double Reeders of all ages.
Maps and directions can be found on the Wycombe Abbey site.
